Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) or jumbo bags are among the lowest cost methods to ship, store and transport bulk products in many industries to include food, mining, chemical, construction, dairy, proteins, pulses, grains, and spices. There use and acceptance has expanded globally as many industries are realizing the cost benefits as well as the ease of handling and storing their products in these structures.

FIBCs are categorized by purpose (Type A,B, C and D), shape, size and capacity. Bag structures are designed based on needs and then evaluated, tested and approved based on there ability to perform at five, six and sometimes eight times the package weight (safe working load).
